Directors Julie and Sarah were at the recent University of Northampton Sustainability Summit, 12 months on from our first visit.
This year’s summit was focussed on harnessing the power of innovation in attaining our shared sustainability goals under the Northampton sustainability accord.
We heard from three key note speakers, covering biodegradable packaging, green nature based solutions, and clean aviation through new science and technology.
While some of the statistics from the day were frightening, there are still reasons to be optimistic.
New technological advancements are developing each year, with the use of alternative energy sources and nature-based solutions.
We’re passionate about protecting our planet now and for future generations.
And we’ll continue to work with our suppliers to look for new, innovative solutions that comply with food safety.
