Houghton Hams charity Day!

As a family and as a business we have actively organized and donated to many charity events over the years, and this year was no different as we decided to get involved in the Largest coffee morning for Macmillan. We really do have some excellent bakers here at Houghton Hams, so we had a gorgeous selection of cakes and treats from all different members of staff and departments. We couldn’t host an event without some bacon and ham of course, so we cooked bacon sarnie’s and ham rolls along with tea and coffee… which obviously went down a treat! We couldn’t of been more pleased with the day and generosity from all that donated and helped organise such a fantastic day! We raised around £260 for Macmillan nurses and we couldn’t be happier, as its such an important charity! Hopefully we will continue to do this net year and raise even more!!!
